Today on Sun News: By-elections and past records

With lots going on politically, there was no shortage of topics today. By-elections, leadership and the Ontario New Democrats’ past history on prorogation (they’ve prorogued more times than they’ve formed government).

On the by-elections: Durham could be interesting if voters want to punish the Conservative Party for Bev Oda’s excesses; the Victoria riding will likely hold given the BC Liberals unpopularity and the riding of Calgary Centre? Well, that’s why I’m laughing.

    Hi Lisa.

    Inquiring minds want to know:

We’re quite sure you are a liberal and think you might be a Liberal too. If so, why on earth are you on Sun TV (which we think is very conservative and Conservative)? If this is an inappropriate comment, I apologize for writing it and for the curiosity of my unit’s crew.

You’re not the first to ask! Yes, I’m very liberal and Liberal. They’re pretty good to me over there and they let me say what I think. Political discourse is important, even if you’re up against Conservatives.

Well then I, for one, would love to watch you; are you on at a regular time or a specific programme?

Thanks! I’m Sun’s regular “Outsider” on Monday’s with Krista Erickson. We usually go on around 11:30.

When big political stuff happens – like last week when the Premier resigned – they have me on as well.

I’m sure Sun would appreciate you watching, too!
